Your Privacy Choices

What we collect — and what we don't
CineReel is a client for your own Plex Media Server. We don't build ad profiles, track your viewing history on our servers, or share personal data with third parties for marketing. The data we hold about you is minimal:
- Apple TV pairing sessions — only if you use QR pairing; held only until your TV claims them or the short pairing window expires, then discarded.
- Diagnostic logs — only if you choose to send one from the app; access tokens are redacted before the log is written.
- Aggregate analytics — anonymous page-view counts via Vercel Analytics. No cookies, no cross-site tracking.
Delete your data
Pairing sessions and diagnostic logs are already deleted on their own — see the Privacy Policy for retention details. For any other data request — access, correction, or erasure — contact us at the address below and we'll respond within 30 days.
Opt out of analytics
Vercel Analytics is privacy-respecting by design — no personal identifiers, no cross-site tracking, no fingerprinting. Because no personal data is collected there is nothing to opt out of. If you prefer, you can block analytics entirely with any standard content blocker.
In-app data (Apple TV, iPhone, iPad, Mac)
Your Plex server address and authentication token are stored only on your device and in your personal iCloud Keychain (if enabled). Apple controls that storage; you can revoke iCloud Keychain access or delete the app at any time to remove this data from your devices.
